Hey, I'm Sally!

Founder of The Gym House | Personal Trainer | Group Fitness Instructor | 20 Years of Helping People Feel Their Best

Fitness has been a huge part of my life for the past 20 years, and I can honestly say I love what I do just as much as I did when I first started.

My journey began back in 2006, teaching group fitness classes and it didn't take long for me to realise I'd found something pretty special. There's nothing quite like the energy of a room full of people moving together, pushing themselves, laughing, sweating and leaving feeling better than when they arrived.  Group fitness was my first love and it still is one of my biggest passions today.

A few years later, I moved into personal training and that's when I discovered just how rewarding it is to help people transform not only their fitness, but the way they feel about themselves.

Because for me, fitness has never been just about how you look.  It's about how you FEEL.

It's about becoming stronger, healthier, happier and more confident.  It's about achieving things you never thought possible, finding that belief in yourself and realising just how capable your body really is.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping so many incredible people through different stages of their lives. I'm particularly passionate about supporting women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond, helping them navigate the changes, rediscover their strength and realise that getting older certainly doesn't mean slowing down!

In fact, I believe some of our strongest, fittest and most confident years can still be ahead of us.

Nutrition is another huge part of my approach. I'm a big believer in

nourishing your body with good, wholesome food and creating healthy habits that become a way of life. No crazy diets, no quick fixes, no unnecessary restrictions. Just real food, sensible choices and finding a balance that works for you.

And while we're talking about balance, I should probably confess that I have a rather serious love affair with peanut butter. Some might call it an addiction. I prefer to call it dedication!

After 20 years in this industry, one thing has never changed.

My biggest reward isn't watching someone lose weight, lift heavier or run faster. It's watching them start to believe in themselves.

Seeing someone walk into a class feeling nervous and unsure, then watching them grow stronger, stand taller and leave with a smile and a confidence they didn't know they had — that's what makes it all worthwhile.

Whether you're taking your very first steps into fitness, returning after a break, navigating menopause or looking for your next challenge, I want you to feel supported, encouraged and proud of what you can achieve.

The Gym House is about so much more than workouts. It’s about building strength, confidence, friendships and a healthier, happier way of life.

And if I can make you smile, sweat and surprise yourself along the way, then I’ve done my job.

See you on the workout floor!

Sally
